BISMARCK, ND – North Dakota Housing Finance Agency’s (NDHFA) 2023 Homeownership Forum will focus on the current state of the mortgage industry including what regulators are thinking, the market’s next 6-12 months, the latest on loan officer compensation, RESPA, fair lending and more.

The event’s featured speaker is Ken Perry, president and founder of The Knowledge Coop, a training and consulting firm that specializes in mortgage education. Perry will also address how to win in today’s market.

“Between Ken’s research, close industry contacts, regulator relationships, and training team at The Knowledge Coop, he always has the latest industry insight and projections,” said NDHFA Homeownership Division Director Brandon Dettlaff.

The Homeownership Forum is Feb. 22 at the Doubletree by Hilton in West Fargo and Feb. 23 at the Bismarck Hotel and Conference Center in Bismarck. The event is targeted to lenders, real estate agents and related professions.

“The event is hosted in two locations, same agenda, allowing for the greatest participation by the individuals and organizations who partner with North Dakota Housing Finance Agency to provide affordable homeownership opportunities,” said Dettlaff.

Register online by Feb. 3, 2023, to receive the early bird rate of $50. After Feb. 3, the fee increases to $60. Registration closes at 4:00 p.m. on Feb. 17, 2023. The registration fee includes the program, continental breakfast, and refreshments. To register or learn more, https://cvent.me/ZVo133.

A self-supporting and mission-driven agency, NDHFA is dedicated to making housing affordable for all North Dakotans. The North Dakota Industrial Commission, consisting of Governor Doug Burgum as chairman, Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring and Attorney General Drew H. Wrigley, oversees the agency.
