2022 Homeownership Forum Focus on Appraisal Process and Trends

gray house with treesBISMARCK, ND – North Dakota Housing Finance Agency’s (NDHFA) 2022 Homeownership Forum, “Appraisal Process and Trends: Real Property Valuation in North Dakota,” will be held on Feb. 16 at the Doubletree by Hilton in West Fargo and Feb. 17 at the Radisson Hotel in Bismarck.

The forum agenda is the same at both locations, with Craig Steinley, a State‐Certified General Appraiser, a designated member of the Appraisal Institute, and an AQB‐Certified USPAP Instructor from Rapid City, SD, leading the discussion.

Following the program, attendees are welcome to stay for a Champions of Affordable Housing luncheon at which time NDHFA will recognize its outstanding homeownership partners from each area of the state.

The North Dakota Real Estate Commission and the North Dakota Real Estate Appraiser Qualifications and Ethics Board have approved the forum for four continuing education credits. Certificates of attendance will be issued to licensees who are present for the classroom hours, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

The $60 registration fee includes the program, refreshments and the awards lunch. If only attending the Champions of Affordable Housing luncheon, the cost is $25. NDHFA’s conferences and trainings provide housing industry professionals and community leaders with opportunities to hear from recognized experts, develop new skills, learn about available resources, and make real face-to-face connections.

The 2022 Homeownership Forum is targeted to lenders, real estate agents, appraisers and related professions. The event is hosted in two locations, same agenda, allowing for the greatest participation by the individuals and organizations who partner with the agency to provide affordable homeownership opportunities.
