Housing Incentive Fund Contributions
Housing Incentive Fund (HIF) dollars stay in North Dakota to better our communities by providing safe, decent and affordable housing for essential service workers such as teachers, local and state government workers, law enforcement personnel and long-term care facility workers; main street employees like waitresses, cashiers and bank tellers; and fixed-income households like seniors and persons with disabilities.
How Do I Contribute?
Any individual or business can contribute to HIF. In exchange for the contribution, the individuals and businesses with a state income tax liability will receive a dollar-for-dollar state tax credit.
