Law Enforcement Housing Pilot Program The Law Enforcement Housing Pilot Program creates affordable rental housing targeted to law enforcement personnel in oil and gas impacted counties. These areas are experiencing difficulty recruiting and retaining these workers due to high housing costs and/or housing shortages. The proposed activity must be located in Adams, Billings, Bottineau, Bowman, Burke, Divide, Dunn, Golden Valley, Hettinger, McKenzie, McLean, Mercer, Mountrail, Renville, Slope, Stark, Williams or Ward county. Eligible applicants are City, County or Tribal Housing Authorities; non-profit or for-profit housing developers or any entity or individual with housing development experience acting in a developer role.
