Habitat for Humanity Loan Purchase Program The Habitat for Humanity Loan Purchase Program creates a unique partnership whereby a Habitat for Humanity affiliate builds a home and sells it to a selected family; a private lender finances the purchase of the home; and the North Dakota Housing Finance Agency purchases the loan from the lender. The transaction provides the local Habitat affiliate with immediate full payment of the loan rather than years of monthly payments. The Habitat affiliate uses the funds to build more homes. The monthly payments from the homeowner are paid to NDHFA. Contract the Homeownership Division or your local Habitat for Humanity affiliate for more information. |
