Approved Second Mortgage/Grant Programs (Non-NDHFA)

Several non-profit or government agencies throughout North Dakota offer programs to assist with the downpayment and closing costs requirements of purchasing a home, rehabilitation funding, or other costs associated with buying a home.  The North Dakota Housing Finance Agency has approved the programs listed below for use with our mortgage programs under limited conditions.  

This list is provided for your information only and is not purported to guarantee funding is available at a given time.  The programs may have eligibility requirements and may only offer assistance within a limited certain geographic area.  The administering agency should be contacted directly for more information or answers to eligibility questions.
