Disaster Recovery Resources Disaster Recovery Task Force Led by the North Dakota Housing Finance Agency (NDHFA), the Disaster Recovery Task Force works with communities impacted by disaster. The task force assists with information gathering and dissemination, identification of affected households, damage assessment, response strategy development, resource identification and procurement, and strategy deployment. Rental Housing Available Unfurnished apartments, normally restricted to income-qualified households, can be rented on a month-to-month basis by displaced households. Call 211 or visit the Housing Desk at your local Disaster Recovery Center for more information. Mortgage Payment Assistance NDHFA recognizes that households who are fighting flood conditions may have difficulty making their scheduled loan payments. If you have an outstanding loan with the Agency, contact Loan Servicing at (800) 292-8621 to discuss your options.
